My Review:

A Borrowed Life is an amazing and heartfelt novel about a woman who has to pick up the pieces when tragedy strikes. Kerry Anne King gives readers a relatable character in Liz. Liz is pastor’s wife and when her husband passes away she is conflicted. Their marriage wasn’t perfect and he was controlling so she feels some relief. At 49 she chooses to start over and live the life she has always wanted. Her courage to be true to herself is inspiring. All the changes she makes are risky and brings about gossip, but at least she’s truly happy and hopeful. Such a great read!

I give A Borrowed Life 5 stars. This was my first time reading Kerry’s work and I am already a fan. I loved her personable writing. The premise of this story is fantastic. It will remind readers that you are never too old to reinvent yourself and live the life you want.
